The vector artist: Kudryashka

Kudryashka's art is mainly monographical peices that are mostly based upon urban types of art such as: skyscrapers, cities and so on.
Most of their art is urban types like 'cityscape background' and i like this for many reasons. One would be that they reflect the image at the bottom so its as if you can see the cities reflection in water.
I also like the peice because he's got so much things compact into one and its gone well because theres still a lot of space left.

"Eye" Magazine article

The article I read was about hate driven imagery, It gives five examples of the imagery which is mainly dull colouring or photography. It says the in World War 1 some US artists invented images that deplicted German troops as even more venal than those later in World War 2.

The article got several quotes from different designers and artists such as Dan Walsh who said that "hate imagery is often most graphically charged because there is no operational code of conduct in places between the combatants- no taboos are recognised.

Archangel Michael

Michael is reinterpreted as a symbol of humility before God. Michael is mentioned three times in the Book of Daniel, once as a "great prince who stands up for the
children of your people".
The idea that Michael was the advocate of the Jews became so prevalent that in spite of the rabbinical prohibition against appealing to angels as intermediaries
between God and his people, Michael came to occupy a certain place in the Jewish liturgy.
In the New Testament Michael leads God’s armies against Satan’s forces in the Book of
Revelation, where during the war in heaven he defeats Satan.
Christian sanctuaries to Michael appeared in the 4th century, when he was first seen as a healing angel, and then over time as a protector and the leader of the army of God against the forces of evil.
These Scriptural passages, Christian tradition gives to St. Michael four offices:
To fight against Satan.
To rescue the souls of the faithful from the power of the enemy, especially at the hour of death.
To be the champion of God’s people, the Jews in the Old Law, the Christians in the New Testament; therefore he was the patron of the Church, and of the orders of knights during the Middle Ages.
To call away from earth and bring men’s souls to judgment.
They say he is called "archangel" because he is the prince of the other angels.

Green Wash

Greenwash is an environmental claim which is unsubstantiated and irrelevant which can be found in advertising, PR or on packaging and made about people, organisations and products. Greenwash is dangerous, In a market economy the consumer is king, and consumers have started sending strong environmental signals through their purchasing.

Ben Nicholson

Ben Nicholson was born in Denham, Buckinghamshire on the 10 April 1894 and died 6 February 1982. He was a British painter of abstract compositions, landscape and still-life. His first notablecomposition was when following a meeting with the playwright J. M. Barrie on holiday in Rustington, Sussex in 1904. As a result of this meeting, Barrie used a drawing by Nicholson as the base for a poster for the play Peter Pan. In Paris in 1933 he made his first wood relief, White Relief, which contained only right angles and circles. He believed that abstract art should be enjoyed by the general public, as shown by the Nicholson Wall, a mural he created for the garden of Sutton Place in Guildford, Surrey.
